Privacy Policy

This Master Privacy Policy describes the company-wide data practices of Shomaa Creatives LLP ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its principal office in Hyderabad, Telangana. Each Shomaa application also has its own dedicated Privacy Policy with product-specific details. In the event of a conflict between this Master Privacy Policy and an application-level Privacy Policy, the application-level document prevails for matters specific to that application.

2. Company-Wide Data Commitments
- We do not sell your personal data to any third party across any Shomaa application.
- We do not collect device contacts lists or phonebooks on any Shomaa application.
- We do not collect payment card details directly. All payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age.
- We maintain separate data stores for each Shomaa application. Data from one application is not shared with another without explicit disclosure and your consent.
- We will notify you of material changes to any privacy policy at least 14 days before they take effect.
- We will notify affected users and relevant regulatory authorities of data breaches within the timeframes required by applicable law.
3. Data We Collect Across Applications
At a minimum, all Shomaa applications collect: name, email address, date of birth (for age verification), password (encrypted), and usage and device data. Each application may collect additional data as described in its own Privacy Policy. PollPrint additionally collects sensitive demographic data from users who voluntarily upgrade to Pollster status — see the PollPrint Privacy Policy for full details.
4. How We Use Data
Across all applications, data is used to provide and improve services, verify age eligibility, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with users. Application-specific uses are described in each application's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Security
All Shomaa applications implement commercially reasonable security measures including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted password storage, and role-based access controls. PollPrint applies additional heightened measures for sensitive demographic data. No internet transmission method is 100% secure.
6. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to India and countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place for international transfers.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Regardless of which Shomaa application you use or where you are located, you may contact privacy@shomaa.org to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data; withdraw consent for consent-based processing; or object to certain processing activities. We respond within 30 days or any shorter period required by your local law. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.
7.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)
Right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data). No discrimination for exercising rights.
7.2 EU and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, and object. Right to lodge complaints with local supervisory authority.
7.3 Australia
Access and correct personal information. Lodge complaints with the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
7.4 India (DPDPA 2023)
Access processing information, correct and erase data, nominate a representative, and lodge complaints with the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
All Shomaa applications are strictly for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Accounts found to belong to underage users will be terminated and data deleted promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
